EFAW - Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work
The Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) course is a vital one-day training that provides essential skills to respond quickly and effectively to workplace emergencies. It meets the legal requirements under the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981, which mandate employers to have adequate first aid provision, including trained personnel. This course is ideal for low-risk workplaces and ensures immediate assistance to injured or ill employees, helping to prevent serious harm. Having EFAW-trained staff promotes workplace safety, legal compliance, and peace of mind for employees and employers alike. Investing in this training means being prepared when emergencies happen.

Full Paediatric First Aid (OFSTED Registration)
Paediatric first aid is legally required for nurseries in the UK under the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, ensuring at least one staff member with a valid paediatric first aid certificate is on-site whenever children are present. The training must last a minimum of 12 hours, include practical elements, and be renewed every three years to maintain certification. Staff qualified after June 2016 must have this qualification to be counted in child-to-adult ratios. This training equips staff with lifesaving skills to respond effectively to emergencies specific to young children, ensuring legal compliance and providing peace of mind for parents. Non-compliance risks penalties, including negative Ofsted ratings or nursery closure.

Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (18 Hrs)
The First Aid at Work (FAW) course is a 3-day training that equips workplace first aiders with essential skills to handle emergencies in higher-risk environments. It covers CPR, wound management, shock, fractures, and AED use, meeting HSE regulations. The course includes practical exercises, assessments, and provides a certification valid for three years. It is a vital qualification for ensuring workplace safety and emergency preparedness.

Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work - Requalification
The First Aid Requalification course is a vital 2-day training designed for renewing your existing First Aid at Work certificate before it expires. In the UK, it is a legal requirement under the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981 that first aid certificates, including Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) and First Aid at Work (FAW), are renewed every three years. Without requalification, a first aider’s certificate becomes invalid, and they are no longer legally recognized to provide first aid at work. Timely requalification prevents gaps in workplace first aid cover and helps maintain compliance with safety regulations.
